I believe familiarity with the term “coach” starts in sports. That’s where I first heard it.
In my early childhood soccer team, the coach was always a volunteer and usually a parent of one of the girls on my team. You did what the coach told you to do, not only out of fear of what your parents would do otherwise, but because coaches were able to bring out your potential.
Early on I learned that I get immense value from people that have an outside perspective on my actions. And I’ll admit, I’ve had bad coaches and good coaches. All coaches are people after all.
But the ones that were great left their mark on me like fingerprints on glass.
Hold your head up.
Breathing can impact performance.
Work on your weaknesses.
Develop your stamina.
And while these nuggets of wisdom are sports related, some can also be very important for life—
Don’t lose your cool under pressure.
Be resilient and push forward.
Think long term and stick with it.
Stay positive.
And it goes way beyond sports. There are coaches for all kinds of things. There’s a coach for finances, a coach for starting businesses, a coach for being a CEO. There are coaches for life’s many troubles, and even coaches for coaches. And that’s what I am.
I’m a coach.
I am also a Tarot reader.
And these two skills go better together than you might expect.
If you’re new to my site, I built Wiccan Soup for the Soul to bring neo-pagan and spiritual practices forward to share and educate others who are curious or want to learn. This is also a space built for people who are seeking a coach to help them overcome many of life’s challenges—whether that be a career, a relationship, a transformation, a mid-life crisis, or a loss. This is a space that has been designed to be welcoming for all walks of life and belief systems and at a pace that is comfortable.
And if you choose to sign up for one of my readings, you’re not signing up for a psychic that’s going to predict the timely arrival of something as trivial as a twin flame.
You’re signing up for an experience to grow.
And as someone who has been in your shoes before, you’re in the right company:
- I’ve navigated difficulties in relationships, career choices, and identity.
- I can attest to the struggle to fit a fruitful life in 24 hours.
- As a writer I also struggle with being creative while keeping bills paid.
- You name it, I’ve done it: podcasts, online courses, self-help books, and conferences.
But sometimes it’s not enough. We need that added benefit you can’t get anywhere else—a coach to support and encourage us as we grow.
And here’s where Tarot reveals something meaningful.
It’s sometimes hard to communicate why things are rough. It’s also sometimes hard to understand what the real problem is amidst the very real struggle of dealing with the storm around us.
You ever take the time to try and explain something, and the other person completely miss it?
Yeah. That’s frustrating.
Yet even when talking with a stranger, Tarot is like a sun beam breaking through the cloud cover to illuminate a path forward.
A client I’ve helped believed the secret to finding a passionate and lasting relationship was changing who she was. After a Tarot reading, all she needed was to give herself permission to try.
Another client I’ve helped believed that finding her happiness relied on her taking on increasingly more responsibility. After a Tarot reading, she realized she needed to be vulnerable and allow others to help.
This has been proven time and time again when I would use Tarot for me, often at the end of my rope. And the advice I walked away with lifted the pressure off my mind and made the impossible seem probable with the right effort.
It’s not just a psychic measure to reach beyond present knowledge to access greater understanding. It’s a mirror that provides a startingly clear view of the challenge—what lies within us.
Whoever said that the greatest adversary you will face is you fighting against yourself, they had it correct. Conquer the internal conflict raging within, and you can exercise enough control on the external conflict to achieve resolution.
If you’re reading through this and feel yourself nodding along, I invite you to schedule a session. It might be overwhelming alone, but you don’t have to be. Even when all you want is someone to tell you its all going to get better.
Clarity and guidance to manifest your best self is ready and waiting for you—all you must do is take it.
